Happy mother’s day

To the one who loved me even when I went astray,

Even in the midst of my wrong every night on her knees she would pray,

Even during times I didn’t obey,

When times where hard you always made a way,

The love you’ve shown I could never downplay,

I can only hope that one day I’ll be able to repay,

I hope this poem says all the words I may have never thought to say,

Material things fade away,

Like metal and teeth decay,

But your love was always there to stay,

So on this 11th day,

Of May,

I just want to say happy mother’s day,
