Growing into success

Lost in the world alone,
Miscommunication in the house even over the phone,
Like a dog, I’m searching for a bone,
When you were a child, you waited for things to be shown,
Your childhood was a lesson for you now that you’re grown,
Everybody wants to be grown,
But how many of them actually have their own,
Life’s hard. You have to work for what you get. Nothing is edged in stone,
Your parents can teach you all they can until they are gone,
It’s not like they have a clone,
What good is a plane that was never flown,
Reality is just cause it feels like you’re on your own,
Doesn’t mean you’re alone,
